Intelius advertises a fee background search but does not provide that. I was trying to check on what I thought was a scam but the service would not provide that information unless I paid. This, too, is a scam.

Charged for service I didn’t sign up for

I did a reverse phone number search last week, and paid the $3.95 for the report. This morning, I see a charge for $34.95 to Intelius that I most certainly did NOT authorize. The customer service numbers are a joke. Does anyone ever actually get through?? I get busy signals on both 888 numbers, and the 425 number is not in service. The one time I did get an answer, I chose option 2 for billing, and the automated system hung up on me. Ive called already this morning close to 100 times. This is ridiculous. Stay away from this service.
