DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! NOT EVEN ONCE and definitely not for the supposed "free trial".

I went to use the 99 cent reverse phone number look up at Intelius and they ended up charging my credit card $19.95 three times in one month and refuse a refund!

they want me to put more info but what else needs to be said?

i can say what all needs to be said in 49 words, dont need 100 words to warn people about this fraudulent company... they refuse to give any refund as well but i contacted mky credit card company anmd the will see how they trick many into their scam, as i look around when doing a search for this company they are riupping so many people offg and think they are getting away with it, so don't let 'em!!!

This site is a rip off. $50 for nothing but the date of birth. It seems to be a Bait and switch operation.

Yes I see the fake response from Intelius - "just call us" unfortunately the phone is never answered and email goes no where. You can send a certified letter to:

500 108th Ave., Ne 25th Fl.

Bellevue,WA 98004

Also - call your credit card company immediately and dispute the charges. If this is coming out of your bank account you'll have to cancel the account and open a new one. Call and email Intelius with a cancel notification. If you still don't get a response, file a complaint with both the BBB and the Attorney General of your state. Do a Google search on line regarding lawsuits against this company - there have been several filed where Intelius has paid out - proving they are guilty. There are other lawyers actively looking for victims in their particular state to file a class action lawsuit. Research and take action. Don't let them get away with it.

If you can't reach them on the phone # they give you try these 425-974-6101, 425-974-6102, 425-974-6103, etc - you will eventually get a hold of one of their execs.

Naveen Jain their CEO got in trouble with the SEC for miss representations on his previous company Infospace. John Arnold thier EVP of business development was in the Federal Pen for lying to a grand jury about being at a strip club. Their company revenues have been declining (now at around $19.5M) as lawyers are filing class action lawsuits against them and winning. Need I say more.

Scam.. all the images were blocked on the email.

So the graphic that showed the 7 day trial was not shown.

Information I received in the first place was no good in the first place and then they tried to stick me with $19.95 charge.

Just as bad as the *** websites.

That is total BS! You don't want happy customers because you refuse to refund these transactions.

I never want any of these charges and yet you keep repeating the same thing "You accepted them". You give seven days but on the day I get my CC bill is when I notice the problem.

TOO LATE by then for reversal you say. DONT USE INTELLIUS EVER!!

If you select a promotional price on the Intelius website, you will also receive a free 7 day trial of Identity Protect. After the 7 day trial, it will convert to a regular subscription and bill out at $19.95 monthly.

However, there’s no obligation. If you determine within the 7 day trial that you no longer want Identity Protect, you can cancel your service anytime, online or over the phone with a customer support representative.

Please call 888-445-2727 Monday – Friday 4:30am – 10:00pm PST. We will be more than happy to assist you with your account.
