Matthewg, It has been a couple of years since you filed a complaint so perhaps that's the difference in the results we received. I use Intelius to check tenants before agreeing to let them rent from us. At first I did not know how to use the system but whenever I needed some help they were always there and pleasant. Perhaps they have heard you and changed their ways. To post this I need to add 25 more words so I'll just thank you and others who may of had problems with Intelius and complained. Intelius in New York, New York - Janessa Bernstein

Intelius has failed (after my sending 7 fax requests documenting that the information about me on their site is incorrect and was posted by a hacker) to remove information about me on its website. This company should not be allowed to operate like this. It is ridiculous that people can have their privacy violated by hackers first and then have the information used against them by a company that claims to be reputable. If Intelius cared about its internal policies that it so proudly displays on its site, it would remove incorrect information! I hope anyone else in my position files similar complaints with all appropriate agencies.
